I was searching the web the other day and I came across a site that does the older VB3 apps and the coments in there were becasue it uses the *.hlp file Vista won't open them and they gave a link to sort out the problem.

This is because M$ in their wisdom don't install Winhlp32.exe on Vista.
Now I know you can access any part of an help file using the WinHelp API because that uses user32.dll which I think should be on all Windows systems but I will stand to be corrected if I'm wrong.
