It's much better to use than TGF, but it is a touch more complicated. I mean it's not hard or anything, but TGF really does teach you the basics to help you learn how to use mmf even better.
But it's your call, fella. :)

I need to find a way to hobble over to my computer. Lol

MMF is far superior, it's whether you'd be be able to wrap your tiny brain around it. ^_^

Haha better use a <div> wrapper.

Anyways, what's the scoop here? We have who doing what at the moment?
Or are we waiting on me to get the base files done?

No, I think it's slightly different.

Eric should take charge really, he's the MMF queen <3

I just realized that the frame editor has a built in snap-to grid. A shame I haven't seen that feature before.
I saw some discussion about parallax effects and how it's all done in one event. An easier way of creating a parallax effect is altering the layer X&Y coefficiency.

That's MR. Queen to you.

But I think I used the 320x256 res because it may follow the GBA res.
I usually try to fit my games to fit a console specs as best I can, like using as few buttons as possible (A and B buttons) and NEVER any mouse controls. I hate using the mouse for a controller, so I wouldn dare include it for a game I make that's to reflect a retro console.

Give me some time to get the base files, little difficulty atm.

Those coefficiency values get nailed when I'm using multiple layers. Love it.

I LIVE by snap to grid! You can make levels with EASE.

Snap to grid is one helpful tool.
Sometimes it gets a little tricky when some objects like actives are not quite you grid dimensions, so there is a lot of switchin on and off of that grid for saps like me.

Same Eric. I usually try and lay out a bunch of 16x16 (or w/e) level tiles first, and then populate with enemies and so on.

I'm making something special this time 'round

Might I suggest you download MMF2 DEV? Torrentz.com is a great place to look.
TGF and MMF are actually very similar. I used to use TGF and I was surprised at how similar they where when I switched to MMF.

Ican't live without he Event List editor. Just for that function it's worth switching to MMF

And look at all the objects!
