Likewise Jag, I'm using all retro style music. Kick-ass.

I've been brainstorming what I can do with my entry, it's going to kick ass mate. Better than some scruffy grass level.

Lol Flug RPG

I wouldn't know how to go about with that, if I ever tried.
I mean most RPGs need a lot of characters, and while Flug has a few, I wouldn't want to throw in a bunch of crazy outlandish characters.

I quite like the idea of a real time RPG for Flug, like HeartForth Alicia, building up stronger jump attacks and ground dashes and such. haha

But for now, I'm sticking with Flug Laaaa

Like I told you bud, it's quality for some of your first work. ;]
Even the spriting of the little things like the cacti and cattle skeletons are pretty cool for such limited experience.

I know you could get pretty good at this at the rate you've been picking up on the material! (and that's not even being kebab sarcastic. XD)

Dear me, 4 pages by the end of the week. Glad to see the idea is being accepted by so many, with a lot of neat ideas coming out. And I'll play that level in a bit Ian, to give it a fair look.

Now for my entry, I'm brainstorming, trying not to get carried away with grandiose ideas as I always do and seeing what I can squeeze out of the horror theme. The other alternative idea I had in mind was to do that whole noir style, with a 1920s-40s black-and-white style period and involving bootlegger villains and so on. That being said, that idea is also probably tempting due to the imminent release of L.A. Noire :P

It'd be a shame if anyone got hung up on their projects, we gotta finish something! lol

Speaking of finishing stuff, I've had a go at making the main menu and such. Now if the sample game provided with the main menu doesn't work, then I'll have to try an alternative to loading the game files.
I'm trying to do it via external files but I'm hoping the compiled version included the necessary files.

I didn't bother with the graphics and such, like the title screen, because that stuff comes later.
Just hit space bar to go to the main menu.
And use shift and enter to select and play.

Oh and by the way, I think there's one more rule we could do with adding to the collab. A universal "jump" key.
