What games are you playing?

Postby slokage » Sun May 09, 2010 11:04 pm

Trying to get some activity on the forums so lets all share what games you are playing and why you are playing them :) Also how many hours you are playing that game on a normal day :P

Me:
Game:World of Warcraft
Reason: Playing cause I have a lot of friends in the game, and also a lot of my "real" friends are playing as well(a little like MSN 2.0 :P ) Its also a good way to kill some time during the day, living alone in a small town atm so I don't have anything else to do :P
Time On average I'm playing around 8 hours a day(I know its to much but I don't have anything more important to do :P

Game:Mirrors Edge
Reason:I've been a parkour freak for a few years and I really enjoy this game, love the graphic style, the control, everything :)
Time: Uhm, not that much atm, but around 2 hours a day maybe :)

Ben playing Heavy Rain a lot lately, completed it 2 times now.
...also ben playing a whole lot of GTA Chinatown Wars for the PSP(Go), got all cars, both the Lion statues and about 75 of the cameras destroyed

Don't have so much time as before, to play games cuz of my studies :(

I have loads of games you have probably seen some of them in my racing list in the other post.

I don't really have a lot of time to play them at the moment. I have Call of Duty 1, Call of Duty(R) 4 - Modern Warfare, realMYST, Space Shuttle Mission, Twin Sector, Call of Juarez, Deer Hunter Tournament, Moto Racer 3, MotoGP 2, MotoGP 2007, MotoGP 08, Superstars V8 NC, Resident Evil 4, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and UK Truck Simulator and they were all free.

As you can see I like shootem ups, puzzles and racing games. ;)

I have just completed Doom3 for the first time. I have also just completed Lord of the rings battle for middle earth 2.

I have also just come accross some interesting mods for Doom3 which I might give a go, Classic Doom mod which is the original shareware version of Doom been redone for Doom3, looks well cool. There is also a Decent mod being done as well :)

I have just started playing Homeworld 1

Isnt world of warcraft a online game, if yes is it a one off payment?

Yep, its online, costs like 12euro / month. And thats the problem atm, was in Estonia last week and wasted all my money on booze and cigarette's, so I can't pay the fee this month, god I'm so bored!

I'm currently playing Nier, which is bloody awesome.

In other news, my WoW account got hacked yesterday - those of you who know me know that I've been playing for a while now. I lost over 5 years worth of work :( now that is depressing... lol...

Oh also playing Motorstorm: Pacific Rift.

As I've said in the other Racing Sims topic.

I've just bought Ferrari Challenge for the WII. Once you get used to the settings and controls its pretty good. I don't think its worth buying a steering wheel but your arm do ache a bit my sensor is on top of the TV or I could sit in a chair. ;)

I downloaded Gears of War but all the cracks don't work. :demon:

I've downloaded Assassin's Creed II and that works great. I've just got to sort out all the keys. I don't know that I'm into this type of game climbing and jumping, its a bit like Tomb Raider but there are no guns and I have all the Tomb Raider's. I downloaded Assassin's Creed months ago and that works ok. ;)

I downloaded Sail Simulator 2010 the other day and its not very interesting sailing a boat. I also downloaded The Thing PC game the other day. Do you remember The Thing the movie in 1982? It was were scientists in the Antarctic are confronted by a shape-shifting alien that assumes the appearance of the people that it kills. Well they made a PC game on the same theme. Its basically a shootem up with puzzles. and its pretty good. ;)

Ok new download Silent Hunter 5: Battle of the Atlantic. Its a WWII Submarine simulator. You're a lieutenant on a German U-boat so you have to get used to all the keyboard and mouse controls to operate the sub. The graphics and sound are good. You can change camera views inside and outside of the sub, you can view underwater and on the surface. ;)
