Have you noticed how we've all grown lazy and begun posting links (not even formatting them with some "click here" feature) of YouTube videos instead of commenting on anything?

Taco, you've eaten too many of those tacoes and got your bigass belly bloated. Get your behind on some real work and comment on your claims!

I remember the endless (and, sometimes, pointless) debates on religious issues, the kinds of which would be more popular than the whole forum itself by the end of the week. We used to pretend that we thought everything over while, in fact, all we did was delicately enforce subconscious pre/lack of/misconception. Hoj popped in regularly, "
trolling" after a night out with "
the mates".
As for logic, well, I can only say it is at the very least suspicious that I've got a brain so big and have no - not even atavistic - recollection of when my ancestry told itself to grow this brain so large and for what. I only use a small part of it and am not aware of its capabilities, not by a long shot. That makes me suspicious of my own evolution: am I really in charge of it? Am I in charge of myself?
Ok, so I've got this substance called "water". H2O in chemistry, it's something that gets mixed with a whole bunch of other bacteria and microorganisms. I drink it, it takes the thirst away. I've been doing this as an individual, as a species, as a mammal, as a carbon-based lifeform for the past - what? - couple of million years. That water, if you forget about the newer stuff regarding pollution, has remained the same. Its base structure was not altered and it still is safe to drink. That's because those motherbloomin' electrons spinnin' around those nuclei (and I mean they're spinnin' so fast that one can harvest
nuclear power out of it) have been doing the same spinning thing for that amount of time and remained unaltered. This extraordinary stability makes me think that an universe (merely about five billion years old, according to the ever-convinced scientists) as elaborate and stable as this one
could not have possibly just popped out of thin air. An age-old discussion, I know, and quite old and superficial arguments on my part, but what if this world was sentiently engineered in one way or another?
If you go YouTubing for videos, do a search for one that compares (in a cute 3D presentation) celestial body sizes within the known universe. Starts from Earth and gradually grows until one loses track of the sheer scale that things can grow up to. Makes you think how small and insignificant one can be compared to... the table on which
Tom & Jerry were drawn. I saw that table, it's currently shelfed away in a run-down students' studio for animation in Vienna. Time and space, boys, time and space. Always takes the best out of a man's amazement.

- Culture doesn't need too much. Tom & Jerry were here.
