It shouldn't matter anyway. When programming it just use the Player presses Button 1 option. Can always change the Button 1 button later on in the Options menu.

Yes! Exactly what I had in mind.
I used to rent those games all the time (when Sega and SNES games still were rentable) and I'd play like only one or two games on there because the others were too hard or something. Haha

Yeah and universal jump buttons will be easy, with an options menu and that.

Ah I see, so the sub-application files MUST be transferred with the main .exe when they are external.
Okay, so I'll just load all the editables in the main main file and access them through the internal sub-apps.

Anyone have any files at the moment? Even if all you have is a quarter-finished first stage or a title screen, I could use something to anchor into the main menu so I can test all your various programs and their compatibility. :]

Dropbox em and PM them to me and I'll give you the low down if everything is working right!

I'm going to be working on Flug for a few hours tonight. If I don't post any playable stuff, I'll let you know how far I'm getting with stuff. I'm still messing about with the engine and graphics.

I'll probably put up a tiny piece, just so you can whack it in Eric.

Do you just need the .exe for it to work?

No, they all need to be editables so I can add them into the main file.
Just PM them to me, if you don't want your work floating around on the forum like.

Sorry I'm not able to upload tonight (I've been on Skype with Eric for ages), but I'll get to it. I've worked a lot on the game, everything's ready for me to hammered out something good. Been helping Alex out with his engine etc.

The game is all about its wackiness and plenty of absurdity, and a sketchy handdrawn title image suits perfectly, with its shaky lines and rather 'raw' look. ;]

This is what im doing for the flug collab. its going to be a flug rpg. im tired of platformers so ill do something a little different.

There are turn meters at the bottom to indicate if someone can go like in final fantasy. The numbers in the box are the hp. Ive yet to set those. and the meter at the top left is the effort meter. as long as it has any thing you can do special attacks.

The members of m2k are special summons to induce status alignments. i wont spoil what they are right now but its funny. Also the story seems to be what if my arch nemesis "Burrtio" teamed up with spudnick or something. Should be easy to play. Im just worried about a tutorial level though sounds like alot of hard core coding but it'll be fun either way.

I also need to figure out what the over world will be like. Ive been using paper mario as a reference but i cant really do 3d gaming obviously so maybe just linear platforming anyway?
